I think the issue of body image can go the other way too. I'm privileged in the fact that I naturally have a smaller body frame, and therefore can fit with the trait of being "skinny." And I do appreciate the fact that I have this blessing.
At the same time, it often makes me feel very upset that I don't have the same womanly figure as my friends. Especially from learning about other cultures where that is valued more, I often wish I could trade my stick-like body for a curvier one. I guess it makes me feel less like a woman to have a "boy bum" or be flat-chested.
